Our industry is way more complex than meets the eye. MSPs and MSSPs are not just managing their clients’ cybersecurity programs, they are also accountable to their auditors, customer auditors, and cyber insurance providers.
Keeping up with cybersecurity rules, regulations, and audits keeps getting tougher each year.
I met Sean Lardo, the Evangelist of ConnectWise Economy at ConnectWise #ITNation 2023.
ConnectWise stands as the top business operating system application tailored for tech consultants, integrators, developers, and managed service providers. Over 38,000 IT solution providers trust ConnectWise to streamline their essential business tasks, spanning from business development and project management to client services and billing. ConnectWise empowers IT providers to enhance accountability, operational efficiency, labor utilization, profitability, and seamless system integration.
In this < 5-minute interview, Sean Lardo shares some thoughts on how emerging vendors can find success in the MSP space. Super important information for vendors who want to succeed, and in particular he says “ROI doesn’t always come from a particular conference, it comes downstream as you build relationships.”
Sean also runs the PitchIt program for startup vendors in the ConenctWise ecosystem. Learn about this year’s PitchIT group here:
Sean says that #ITNation is a nice way to cap the year where vendors can connect one last time for the year to finish up some deals, and also plan for next year together.
Sean also talked about the IT Nation Gives program, specifically the 5K Race supporting K9s For Warriors, organized by ConnectWise. The community’s support will directly contribute to matching a warrior in need with a shelter dog trained to assist veterans dealing with post-traumatic stress, traumatic brain injury, or military sexual trauma.
Watch the interview and let us know what you think? If you are an emerging vendor, how do you plan to build relationships with MSPs & MSSPs?
